Last week, Kinisis Ventures took four Cypriot tech startups on the road in the U.S., showcasing innovation and forging new connections across New York City, New Jersey—and all the way to Silicon Valley.
Day 1: Launch at Neuberger Berman, NYC
Our three Fund I portfolio companies—ASCANIO, DAREFORE, and IREROBOT LTD—were joined by a guest Cypriot startup INTELECTRA. Against the stunning backdrop of Central Park, over 60 private and institutional investors, business executives, and partners gathered in the elegant Neuberger Berman offices.
Keynote Address
Theodoros Loukaidis outlined why Cyprus is primed to become a global hub for technology investment, illustrating real-world success stories and market opportunities.
Founder Panel
Aristos Constantine moderated a lively discussion with the four founding teams, highlighting how Cyprus offers the ideal launchpad for scaling innovative ventures internationally.
Networking Dinner
The evening wrapped up with a delightful dinner co-hosted by the Cyprus–U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where guests and founders deepened relationships over Cypriot cuisine.
Day 2: Pitches to New Jersey Angel Groups
We crossed the Hudson to pitch directly to two leading angel networks in New Jersey. Each company presented its vision, traction, and growth plans—sparking robust Q&A sessions and follow-up interest from multiple investors.
Day 3: Back to NYC for VC Engagements
Returning to Manhattan, our teams met with an early-stage venture firm in the morning, then pitched to another VC fund and a roomful of private investors in the afternoon. Across both sessions, feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with two distinct groups requesting detailed follow-up materials.
Beyond New York: Follow-ups & Silicon Valley Spotlight
Later in the week, several teams held one-on-one meetings with New York–based investors to explore partnership and pilot opportunities. Meanwhile, IREROBOT LTD travelled to Google Research in San Francisco to showcase their flagship robotic innovations—opening doors to potential R&D collaborations on the West Coast.

“This roadshow has broadened our teams’ horizons and solidified their U.S. strategy,” said our Managing Partner. “We’re already fielding follow-up requests—and interest in KV Fund II is accelerating.”
